The World Poker Tour this year in 2008 has announced the schedule and there is a   noticeable percentage of less number of tournament rounds this year when compared to the last year’s events. There are a total of 14 events this year. 

Poker players always look forward to the World Series of Poker and World Poker Tour (WPT and WSOP respectively) every year. The 2008 WSOP tournament is currently going on at the Rio All Suite Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.
